25th Anniversary of World AIDS Day

December 1 is the 25th Anniversary of World AIDS Day. As in years past,
again this year the Faith Ministry Program of the Alliance of AIDS Services- Carolina in partnership with various faith communities will host the annual World AIDS Day Interfaith Worship Service – a time for all of us to remember those of our friends, family and members of our communities who are living with and/or have died as a result of HIV/AIDS. This year our
interfaith service will be hosted by and held at Temple Beth Or, 5315 Creedmoor Road in Raleigh on Monday evening, December 1 beginning at 7:00 p.m. In addition to the worship experience, the service will also serve as the Opening Ceremony for the 20 panels of the Names Project (the AIDS Memorial Quilt) which will be on display at Temple Beth Or through Wednesday, December 3. The Closing Ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3.

I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest - and, am optimistic
that you will join us. You may respond by email at
carolyn.mcclendon@co.wake.nc.us or by telephone at 212-9450.

Thanks for considering our invitation - and responding soon.
